The Earth Science and Biology students had a great time on our big Boone & Crockett field trip! we saw beautiful fall colors, bears, and macroinvertebrates! what more could a scientist ask for?

Refiner & Wildcat Gameday!

Today, the 26th is a busy sporting day for our Refiner and Wildcat athletes.

**Volleyball travels to Augusta for a JH game at 5pm followed by Varsity +20.
**JH Football travels to Valier for a 6pm kickoff.
**XC hosts the Toole County Challenge in Sunburst with all races beginning at 4:30pm at the NTC FB Field.

This week in Creative Writing, students designed personal mandalas—visual representations of their values and beliefs, talents and abilities, goals for the future, and successes from the past.

VB vs. Valier

Today, September 25th, the Refiner and Wildcat Volleyball teams host the Valier Panthers in Sunburst. The JH game begins at 5pm + 20 Varsity.

7th graders are exploring cells and learning how to use microscopes. They are taking a little walk through time to learn how scientists developed the cell theory.

We had a lot of fun hunting for seeds and seeing how they disperse!

District VB Standings and Results

Last year, Mrs. Richmond's 4th grade students competed in National History Day. These were our top 3 finishers. This week, their boards will make their way to Helena for the Montana History Conference, where they will be judged among other 4th and 5th grade posters from across the state. Let's wish these ladies the best of luck!

Week 4 Six Man FB Standings

Refiner & Wildcat Football @ Highwood

Today, the 20th, the Refiner and Wildcat Football teams travel to Highwood. The JH plays at 4:30pm followed by the varsity at 7pm.

Refiner XC at Missoula

Today, the 20th, the Refiner XC team competes in Missoula at the Mountain West Classic at the UM Golf Course. Good luck runners!

This week, 4th graders heard a story about the Iniskim, also known as the Buffalo Stone, which is sacred to the Blackfeet people. ​According to the story, a woman heard singing that led her to the Iniskim, a stone that helped her call the buffalo back to her starving people. The stone became a powerful symbol of spiritual connection to the land and survival. ​One of our students shared his very own Iniskim with the class! His dad found it while hiking along the Missouri River. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect to our local area and learn about the rich history and traditions of the Blackfeet people. ​We're so grateful for these incredible moments of sharing and learning.

AURRRRGH! Happy "National Talk Like a Pirate Day!" Every good pirate knows how to tally up loot and find missing treasure!

Biology is learning about pH with a cabbage juice indicator and the goal of creating a rainbow.

From the screen to the classroom—the 3rd grade students created their own Zoombinis! Next up: writing adventures about their quirky little pals. 💡🎨✍️

What an inspiring day for our Choir and Music students! A huge thank you to our wonderful guest speaker, Ms. Sheila, for sharing your wisdom and passion. Students not only learned about the many career paths music can offer and the unique experiences of small vs. large school programs, but also had the special opportunity to perform for her. We are so grateful for your time and encouragement!

Upcoming FB Game Change!

Due to a referee shortage, the Refiner football team's last home game vs. St. Patrick's Academy (formerly GFCC) that was scheduled for Saturday, Oct 11, 2025 at 6pm will be moved to Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6pm. This last game will still be senior night.

Refiner & Wildcat Volleyball at Power/Dutton/Brady

Today, the 18th, the Refiner and Wildcat volleyball teams travel to Dutton. The schedule will be: JH @ 5:00pm, JV + 15, Varsity + 20.
