These Jr.High students represented our school so well at the National History Day state convention. While we didnt walk away with any awards this year, a new passion for history has begun in a couple of these young ladies! We had an incredible time and were lucky to watch Hasan Davis's living history of York. We were also able to participate in an incredibly motivating workshop that invoked many deep thoughts about writing our own stories and finding out the stories of those less known.

Our 4th and 5th grade students were busy getting their hands dirty in the greenhouse today.
Students planted native grasses and the traditional “Three Sisters” plants—corn, beans, and squash—while learning about the importance of sustainability, ecosystems, and Indigenous agricultural practices. This hands-on experience not only connects students to science and history, but also helps them understand the value of caring for the land around them. We’re excited to watch their hard work grow in the days ahead!
