Back to School
Sunburst Schools first day of school will be on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026. JH & HS (7-12) students will begin their day at 8:00am and elementary (K-6) will begin their day at 8:15am. On Monday-Thursdays, dismissal for K-6 will be at 3:30pm and 3:35 pm for 7-12. On Fridays, K-6 will be dismissed at 2:30pm while 7-12 will be dismissed at 2:35pm.
Elementary Back to School Night will be on Tuesday, August 25th, from 6-7pm.
Registration for students in grades 10-12 will take place on August 19th from 4-6pm. Registration for students in grades 7-9 will be on August 20th from 4-6pm.

Fall sports seasons are approaching fast for our Refiner and Wildcat teams.
All high school practices will begin on Friday, August 14. All students must have a current physical prior to participation.
HS Football will practice at 6: 30am. There will be a parent meeting @ 6:00pm on August 10th in the HS Auditorium.
High School Volleyball will practice at 5:00pm. There will be a parent meeting @ 6:30pm on August 14th in the HS Gym.
High School Cross Country will practice 4:00pm. There will be a parent meeting @ 6:30pm on August 14th in the HS Gym.
All Junior High practices will start on Monday, August 17. Students must have a current physical to participate.
JH Volleyball will practice at 5pm in the elementary gym. There will be a parent meeting before the 5pm practice on Aug 17 in the Elementary Gym.
JH Football will practice at 6:30am. There will be a parent meeting at 7:45am after practice on Aug 17 at the Elementary Field.
JH Cross Country will practice at 4pm. There will be a parent meeting following practice on Aug 17 in the HS gym.

The Refiner track and field team travels to Laurel, Montana for the State Class C Track Meet on May 29 and May 30, 2026! Good luck to Ali, Coco, Ethan, Nick, and Wyatt as well as Coach Nagy and Omdahl!
