After reading Unbroken, the true story of Olympian Louis Zamperini’s experiences in World War II, English 11 students had the opportunity to deepen their learning through the Heritage Outreach Program, brought to our classroom by Sergeant Raegen Robertson and Sergeant Steve Weber of the Army National Guard. Their visit helped bring history to life in a powerful way, and we especially enjoyed learning about Montana’s own Devil’s Brigade.

Our All-Star Honor Choir members traveled to Missoula this past weekend for an intensive and inspiring musical experience. Under the direction of Dr. Hirner, these talented students mastered five challenging new pieces—including one in a foreign language—and explored diverse musical styles from across the globe. The weekend concluded with a spectacular performance on Sunday, featuring a special collaboration with university members.
