XC Race Day!
The Refiner Cross County team travels to Great Falls Anaconda Hills for a race today. The girls run at 3pm followed by the boys at 3:40pm.

The Refiner and Wildcat Volleyball teams travel to Chester today, October 2, for a JH game at 4pm followed by JV +15 and varsity +20. This is the final volleyball game for the Wildcats. Good luck ladies!

compare them to a map of today’s reservations.
They also experienced a tool from the past... transparencies! Retired teachers, raise your hand if you used transparencies in your classroom!

Toole County Challenge Dual XC Meet
Shelby traveled north up I-15 to Sunburst to take on North Toole County High School in a dual meet on Friday, September 26th. The weather played out perfectly for a fall evening as September winds down.
The highlight of the race was Colette Bucklin of Sunburst and Aeris Stewart of Shelby finishing first and second right on top of each other. Sunburst retained the " T " for another year in a very close meet.
Thank you to all the community members that came out and supported the runners in this fun dual meet.

The Earth Science and Biology students had a great time on our big Boone & Crockett field trip! we saw beautiful fall colors, bears, and macroinvertebrates! what more could a scientist ask for?

This week in Creative Writing, students designed personal mandalas—visual representations of their values and beliefs, talents and abilities, goals for the future, and successes from the past.

7th graders are exploring cells and learning how to use microscopes. They are taking a little walk through time to learn how scientists developed the cell theory.
We had a lot of fun hunting for seeds and seeing how they disperse!
