
Refiners Fitness and Strength Records!





That's a wrap on the School Pride Food Drive. Thank you Toole County for donating to help our local food pantries! The Sunburst Community Emergency Fund and the Shelby Montana Sagebrush Food Pantry both benefited from your generous donations. In the end Refiner boxes received 130 donated items and Coyote boxes received 50 items. Way to go Refiner fans! You win the bragging rights! Your school photo will also be hung at the local grocery store. Go Big Red!





MSU-Northern Basketball Camp
The MSU-Northern Basketball Camp will be held at NTCHS from June 2-4, 2025! This is a great opportunity to enhance basketball skills while having a great time! Please see the pictures below for additional details!

1st and 2nd graders topped off Dino Days with a trip to the Montana Dinosaur Center in Bynum!










We ended JH and HS PE with a splash today! The students enjoyed a water balloon fight on the football field today during their last PE class. I have been so blessed to work with Sunburst students. I wish all of the Sunburst students a summer full of fun, play, fitness and relaxation!






Staff Appreciation
Sunburst Schools is very appreciative of our staff! We feel fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated group of individuals.
At a staff gathering on May 22, individuals were recognized with service pins as appreciation for their time at Sunburst Schools. Staff members are recognized for every 5 years of service to the district.
This year, the following individuals were recognized:
5 Years: Adele Benjamin (not pictured)
10 Years: Kortnee Pace, Lori Christian,, Jeff Nix, Alex Aschim (not pictured), and Trish Bergstrom
15 Years: Elaina Robins, Missy Nau, Kim Bloch
Lastly, Sunburst Schools wants to congratulate and recognize our staff members that will be retiring; Mrs. Bloch, Mrs. Bergstrom, and Willie Wilson (18 years). We are very thankful for all of the time, efforts, and dedication they have given to Sunburst Schools and we wish them the best in their retirements!

Last Day of School
Sunburst Schools last day of school will be Friday, May 23, 2025. Students will be dismissed at noon with buses running at that time.

The 8th graders had a great time on their trip today to Great Falls. KABOOM was a great place to have some fun!











The 3rd grade class proudly showcased their research on U.S. symbols by creating an interactive museum! They worked diligently and were thrilled to share their efforts with their museum visitors!

8th Grade Promotion The 8th grade promotional ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 7pm in the NTCHS Auditorium. Please come and help our 8th graders celebrate their successes!

Town Clean Up & Tree Planting
On Monday, May 19, students in Kindergarten-11th grade took part in helping to beautify the Town of Sunburst. Students worked in buddy groups to pick up trash. After picking up trash, everyone met at the park by City Hall to help plant trees!
