Sunburst HS VB Showcase
Please come and support our NTC Volleyball Ladies and other teams from our area as Sunburst hosts an all day VB tournament in both of our school gymnasiums on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Sunburst activity passes are not accepted at this tournament. The cost of admission will be: Adult Pass = $10, K-12 Student Pass = $5; Senior and pre-K are FREE

Football Game Forfeited
The NTCHS Refiner football game scheduled for this Friday, August 30, 2024, has been forfeited by the Heart Butte Warriors. The Refiner team will now open their season at home on Saturday, September 7th at 6pm vs Big Sandy.
Back to School Night is Tonight!
Back to school night will be held on tonight, Monday, August 26, 2024, from 6-7pm in the elementary school and from 7-8pm in the JH/HS. All students and their families are invited to come to school, meet your teacher, get your school supplies unpacked,, and make sure you are prepared to come back to school! Sunburst Schools returns to class on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

JH & HS Schedules
The pictures below list the classes that students in JH and HS will have the opportunity to enroll in during Fall Registration on August 21 from 4-6pm for students in 7th-9th grade and August 22 from 4-6pm for students in 10th-12th grade. Please note that this schedule is subject to change depending on registration.

ATTENTION 2024-2025 KINDERGARTEN PARENTS!
If you have a child entering Kindergarten this August, please contact Miss Lori at 406- 937-2816 or lchristian@sunburst.k12.mt.us to get a registration packet! Your child must be 5 years or older on or before September 10, 2024. Registration will be available beginning August 12th.
School begins on Wednesday, August 28th.
Back to School Night

Student Registration for 7th-12th Students
Students entering 7th-9th grade should plan to come to the NTCHS Auditorium from 4-6pm on Wednesday, August 21, to register for classes, fill out all necessary forms, etc.
Students entering 10th-12th grade should plan to come to the NTCHS Auditorium from 4-6pm on Thursday, August 22, to register for classes, fill out all necessary forms, etc.
The Toole County Health Department will be there each evening to administer any needed vaccinations.

All JH and HS students are invited to join the student led organization - FCCLA! Come learn if this organization is for you at a meeting on Friday, August 30th during homeroom.
High School Sports Practices for Aug. 17-Aug. 24
High school football practice will be at 6:30am on 8/17, 8/19, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, and 8/24.
High school cross country practice times will be at 8/17 at 8am, 8/19 at 9 am, 8/20 at 4pm, 8/21 at 8am, 8/22 at 4pm, 8/23 at 4pm, and 8/24 at 8am.
High school volleyball practice will be from 7-8:30am on 8/19 and 8/20 and from 6:30-8am on 8/21, 8/22, and 8/23.
JH Fall Sports Parent Meeting & Information
On Wednesday, August 21st, at 6:00pm in the Sunburst Elementary Gym, there will be a parent meeting for all JH athletic programs (FB, VB, XC) to introduce coaches and answer any questions.
Please bring your sports physical. If you have not gotten one, please try to do so ASAP as students cannot practice until they have a physical completed and turned into a coach/athletic director.
JH Football practice will begin on Thursday, August 22 at 6:30am.
JH Volleyball practice will begin on Thursday, August 22 at 4:00pm.
JH cross country will not start until Thursday, August 29 at 3:45pm.

Sunburst Schools is now offering online school to home schooled students and/or students that choose not to attend school in person grades 6-12. This program also provides availability for students that are attending school in person to take classes that our school may not offer otherwise. This program is not to replace the wonderful education that is provided at Sunburst Schools but to enhance opportunities for students.
