Congratulations to Nikki Nau as she was recognized as the winner of the Voice of America Essay and Audio contest sponsored by the VFW Post #8952. Willie Wilson, representing the VFW, presented her with a check for $150. Nikki's entries will move on to state level judging.

Despite a temporary setback (runaway gingerbread men!), the kindergarten class was able to decorate their cookies today.
Game Postponed!
The basketball games vs. Augusta scheduled for today, 12/18/23, have been moved to Wednesday, 12/20/23. Game times will be: 4:30pm boys JV, 6:00pm girls varsity. There will be no youth basketball.
Community Christmas Concert
The Sunburst Community Christmas Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 6:30 pm in the NTCHS Auditorium.
Sunburst Schools will stream the event over our school Facebook page.
A big thanks to Nate, Mary-Jo, and Phil Aschim for coming in and sharing their family Christmas tradition of lefse from Norway with the 1st graders! We hope you enjoy your own Christmas traditions with your family these next few days. Merry Christmas from 1st grade!

Christmas Break
The last day before the Christmas break at Sunburst Schools will be an early release day in which students will get out of school on Wednesday, December 20 at 12pm (noon). School will resume for students on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

During our last Kiddie Kollege class of the semester the students had a surprise visit from Santa! We had a wonderful semester working with these creative, young minds.
