Sunburst Schools

Back to School! Please remember that all students return to school next Wednesday, August 23, 2023! Elementary students begin their day at 8:15am. Junior High/High School students begin their day at 8:03am. On Tuesday, August 22, back to school night for Kindergarten-6th grade students will be held at Sunburst Elementary from 6-7pm. That same evening, back to school night will be held for 7th-12th students from 7-8pm at North Toole County High School. Please contact either school office if you have questions or need more information! We are excited about getting our students back to school!

Refiner Volleyball is in full swing! We are so excited for this season! 🏐

Junior High Football All parents of 5th-8th grade students interested in playing football are urged to either attend a parent meeting at the elementary gym on Friday, August 11, at 6:30pm or contact Coach Samsal or Athletic Director Nix prior to that time to let them know that your child is planning to participate. Please contact either school if you have any further questions!

The North Toole County High School and Junior High Registration will take place on August 16th and 17th from 5pm to 7pm. Grades 7-9 will register on Wednesday August 16th and grades 10-12 will register on Thursday August 17th. If you have any questions please call the office at 937-2811.

It's not to late to sign up for Refiner Volleyball Camp! Coach Richmond and Coach Buck are eager to get some summer volleyball in! Reach out if you have any questions! 🏐

All are welcome to show up to the track on Friday, July 14th around 8:45am to join the in the Reunion Run 5k! $10 for individuals and $25 for families to participate. You'll get to enjoy a walk or run through Sunburst and give back to FCCLA! Race starts at 9am. See you there!

It's easy to brag when we have the best musicians around! Thanks for making band camp 2023 a success! 🎶 These kids have been working hard to put together a marching routine for the All Class Reunion parade, this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. We hope to see you all there! Go Refiners!

Congratulations to Claire Bucklin on her 4th place finish in the 300m hurdles and her 1st place finish in the 100m hurdles!!! Way to go state champ!

Congratulations to Nikki Nau on her 5th place state finish in the 3200m run!!! She ran a speedy new personal record, breaking her school record again, with a time of 12:00.57

Congratulations to Connor Sullivan on his 6th place finish in the 100m dash!!! His best time of the weekend was 11.38!
