Elementary Christmas Program
The K-6 Elementary Program will be tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, at 2pm in the Sunburst Elementary Gym.
The program will be streamed live over the Sunburst Schools Facebook page.

Mrs. Bloch's 6th class held their annual candy cane sale today. They had a great time raising money to donate to the Prairie Oasis Animal Shelter.

You need a wreath this holiday season! FCCLA has many unsold wreaths that would look great and smell great in your home. The NTC Honor Society is pleased to welcome four new members: Colter Sandon, Michael Miller, Vince Taylor, and Elonzo Benjamin. New members are pictured along with current members Alison Nau and Elizabeth Samsal.
JH & HS Christmas Program
The JH and HS Christmas Concert will be tomorrow, Thursday, December 12, at 7pm in the NTCHS Auditorium.
The K-6 Elementary Program will be on Tuesday, December 17, at 2pm in the Sunburst Elementary Gym.

National Honor Society
Congratulations to the newly inducted members of the NTCHS National Honor Society. New members Michael Miller (Junior), Elonzo Benjamin (Sophomore), Colter Sandon (Sophomore), and Vince Taylor (Sophomore) were officially inducted into the NHS as part of the December 10, 2024 Regular Board Meeting. NHS Advisor Mrs. Taylor and current NHS members, Ali Nau and Ella Samsal, led the ceremony.






Earlier today, members of the NTC Honor Society were invited to help the Sunburst Smarties preschool students make gingerbread houses and Christmas crafts. A fun time was had by all!
HS Basketball Hi-Line Tournament
The Refiner basketball teams will be participating in the Hi-Line Tournament this weekend with games being in both Chester and Rudyard. The entry fee for games will be $10 for adults and $7 for students.

4th Grade reviewed multiplication facts while having a friendly little Christmas competition!

The third grade class became structural engineers, with the goal being to make an igloo! Teamwork, communication, and creative thinking were put to the test. Fun was had, and ideas are certainly brewing for their next creation. Our indoor igloo eventually 'melted away' after the photo-op!

2nd Grade Santa Letters
The 2nd grade class all wrote and recorded their letters to Santa that will be played on KSEN. Special thanks to Northern Telephone Cooperative for sponsoring Sunburst Schools and to KSEN Radio for their continued tradition of broadcasting the Letters to Santa.

The K-6 students have begun practicing for the Christmas Stroll!
Our town's biggest annual event will be taking place on Thursday, December 5th from 5-8pm at the Sunburst Community Center. Student carolers will sing at 6:30!
We hope to see you there!






Mrs. Ehlers' FCS class and 4th grade took their Gingerbread Houses and Cookies to the Museum Annex for the annual competition!
After they paired up with their buddy and explored the Museum with a fun scavenger hunt! They learned so much about our local history and had a blast!!
All community members are invited to come to the Marias Museum Open House tomorrow, December 3rd to enjoy soup, cookies, music and see all of the gingerbread entries. The open house is from 4p.m. - 7p.m. at the Museum Annex in Shelby.
