No County Bee Tonight
The Toole County Spelling Bee scheduled for this evening, February 10, 2025, at 6pm in Shelby has been postponed to a future date because of the water line issues near Shelby Schools.

Toole County Spelling Bee
The Toole County Spelling Bee is tonight, February 10th, at the Shelby HS auditorium at 6 pm. Spellers that qualified from Sunburst should dress nice and show up by 5:45pm to draw their number for their seat in the event.
The winner of this event will move on to the State Spelling Bee in Bozeman in March. Good luck to all of the Spellers!

Lunch Appreciation Week
Sunburst Schools wishes to recognize our incredible staff that prepares delicious breakfasts and lunches daily for our students. Sunburst Schools offers tasty meals every day because of the hard work and care from these amazing individuals.
Miss Lori and Miss Brandi prepare amazing meals for our students. They create a welcoming environment in the elementary cafeteria where they serve all K-12 students daily for lunch and elementary students for breakfast. For JH/HS breakfast, Miss Leisha and Mr. Fleisher also do an amazing job!
Thank you lunch staff for all you do to prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals daily!

Good luck to the Sunburst Robotics team as they head for State Competition in Bozeman! This morning, the team held a demonstration for junior high and high school students and staff, displaying their coding skills and the robot's capabilities. Good luck, B1g Brains! Your hometown is rooting for you!
To end their science unit on Mixtures, 3rd grade tried making their own slime and ooblek!
Both need only two ingredients:
Elmers Glue + contact solution = slime
Corn starch + water = ooblek

During our recent Day of Giving on January 17th, students in grades 7-12 were invited to write a thank you card to an active duty service member. Today, honor society members Ali Nau & Ella Samsal packaged the notes and sent them to Support Our Troops, an organization which will send them on to deployed Sailors, Marines, & Airmen. Here are just a few of the many thank-you notes that were written by NTC students & staff, expressing our gratitude to those who serve.
