Today Lindsay Bloch and Bailey Spicher of Independence Bank stopped by the journalism classroom to present a check to Sunburst Schools in the amount of $721.50. For every transaction made using an Independence Bank Sunburst School Spirit Debit card, up to five cents goes back to Sunburst Schools. Thank you to all the Refiner fans who use the Sunburst School Spirit card!
Senior Night 2024
Tomorrow night, Saturday, September 28, at 6pm vs. North Star, our senior football players will be playing in their final home game. It is also Homecoming 2024! Please come and celebrate and cheer on Nico Postma, Wyatt Evans, and Virgil Manthey as they hopefully lead their Refiner team to victory!
Kindergarten class was busy decorating our classroom number line.
Students in grades 8 and 10 were invited to attend WOW (Worlds of Work) Day in Great Falls . Over 70 exhibitors, employers, and businesses representing trades, professional careers, and the military were on deck to answer questions about future opportunities for youth. The students were able to spend 25 minutes in four different zones interacting and learning what it might be like and what it takes to be a part of that field. I am always impressed with this event and grateful that the city of Great Falls invites us to attend!

Happy Homecoming Week! Join the Booster Club after this Saturday's parade for a delicious home-cooked breakfast featuring breakfast burritos, muffins, and more. All community members are welcome to join, and a free-will offering is gratefully accepted. Ali, Gabe, Ella, Nick and Janae attended the Fall Leadership Rally in Billings on Sunday and Monday. We all worked on growing our leadership, networking, community service and officers skills. We're coming home with new ideas to share with our FCCLA chapter.

NTC students and staff are comfy and cozy on this Monday morning as they kick off Homecoming Week with Pajama Day!
Congratulations to the winners of this year's Homecoming T-shirt Design Contest! First place artists Ali Nau, Emily Roberts, and Henry Roark will each receive a free t-shirt featuring their design, and additional t-shirts in each of the three winning designs will be available for purchase following Saturday's homecoming parade and during the high school football game.
Senior Football Night
Senior football night will be moved to Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 6pm vs. North Star.
This move is a result of the Hanna Hawks varsity football game that was scheduled for October 19th being cancelled. Sunburst Schools is actively seeking to find a replacement game for that weekend.
Juniors and Seniors had the opportunity to attend the North Central Montana College/Career Fair in Conrad. Colleges, military, companies, and government agencies were there to answer questions about future opportunities for students after graduating high school. Students spent an hour exploring and gathering as much information as they could. I learned that if you want a job, there are many entities actively hiring!
