After day 1 of divisionals we have Ella, Audrey, Claire, Trevon, Nikki and Tanner qualified for state. Congrats Refiners! We're looking forward to day two of divisionals!
Congratulations to Virgil Manthey as he signed his papers to officially join the Montana Army National Guard today! He will attend boot camp this summer and return for his senior year at NTCHS for the 24-25 school year.
Student of the Month
The Sunburst Schools April 2024 Students of the Month were recognized at the May Sunburst School Board Meeting. The high school student of the month was senior Gabby Cosme. The junior high student of the month was 8th grader Silby Seymour. The elementary student of the month was 4th grader Corie Carroll. Mr. Dunk shared the staffs' reasoning for nominating these students and why the staff felt they were worthy candidates to be recognized. The board commended Gabby, Silby, and Corrie for their great efforts. Gabby and Silby were present and had their picture taken with the board. The students will receive a certificate for being named Student of the Month.

The Refiner Track & Field athletes earned themselves some hardware this weekend! The boys placed second place at Districts with 111 points! Woohoo! The girls conquered the meet earning 158 points and took home the 1st place trophy! Way to go Refiners! We're so proud of your hard work!

4x4 Champs times two!!! Our boys and girls 4x4 relay teams both took first tonight! Our cheer section was lit too!

Montana Economics Challenge Winners 2024!
North Toole County High School was well represented in the Montana Economics Challenge which they took during their business class led by Mr. Nix. Students took 1st place and 3rd place in the Economics Challenge David Ricardo Division.
The 1st place team consisted of Riccardo Monaca, Carter Enneberg, Dylan Bye, and Christopher Biesemeyer. They will receive $500.
The 3rd place team included Sadie Hutton, Nikki Nau, and Katie Hout. They will receive $100.
Elementary Field Day
Elementary field day for all students in Kindergarten-6th grade will be tomorrow, May 10th! Because of the moisture, elementary field day will be held at the elementary school (not at the HS football/track area).
All events will begin at 12pm. All parents and community members are invited to come and cheer on our young athletes!
