January 4 Basketball Games Cancelled!
The games scheduled vs. Simms in Sunburst on Saturday, January 4, 2025, have been cancelled because of the weather and road conditions. The game will be rescheduled for a yet to be determined date!
Refiner Game Time Update!
The Refiner basketball games vs Simms on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in Sunburst will now be: 1:30pm - Boys JV; 3:00pm - Girls Varsity; 4:30pm - Boys Varsity. There will not be a girls JV game.

NTC students and staff are full of holiday cheer this Friday as we celebrate the last day of school in 2024 with service projects, crafts, and games.
Snazzy Sweatshirts
Thanks to the generosity of many folks, every student in Kindergarten-12th grade received a new Sunburst Refiner hoodie! This wonderful gift allows our students to show their school spirit and be proud to be from Sunburst Schools!
Sunburst Schools is extremely grateful that we have such a wonderful community that supports our students!
Christmas Clue & Buddy Activities
This afternoon, December 19, all of our K-12 students and staff came together to do some fun activities! They played a live-action Christmas Clue game (thanks Mrs. Richmond for organizing), made crafts for the Heritage Center (thanks Miss Tomsheck for organizing), and shared cookies and hot chocolate! The winning white team in Clue won a tasty prize!
Raffle at tonight's home basketball game! Support our students Lead4Change project by buying raffle tickets. Raffle winner will win the beautiful Christmas themed basket! All proceeds will go towards purchasing new Junior High Football helmets.
3rd and 4th grade became Santa's elves in their tinkering of toys and creations. Take 2 on the igloo structure was a success and far more sturdy without an unstable roof. They also made a grapple, robot, and bicycle of sorts! It is amazing watching the imagination of a child bring something to life!
Our Refiner basketball season is off to a great start, and NTC Booster Club has Refiner wear available for you to support your favorite team. Short -sleeved t-shirts are $20 and long-sleeved t-shirts are $25. Look for the following designs in the concessions area at tonight's home game ,or special-order your designs by connecting with Booster members Adele Benjamin, Teresa Berthelote, or Chelsea Taylor.
Christmas Break
Sunburst Schools will have have Christmas break with no school from December 21 ,2024 through January 5, 2025. School will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025!
