Picture Day for individual and class (K-6 only) photos will be on Monday, September 16, 2024. A picture order form/envelope will be coming home with your child on Tuesday (9/10) for grades K-6 and Thursday (9/12) for grades 7-12. Today was all about magnetic magic in the third grade! The class dived into the world of magnetic forces, discovering how magnets can pull together or push apart. With just a few handy tools and some clever experiments, the kids had a great time exploring the wonders of magnetism.
4th grade students investigated some maps, artifacts, and written documents to discover what our first history unit is going to be about...THE CORPS OF DISCOVERY!

September 12 Volleyball Update!
The game times have been changed. The JH game will start at 6pm and the Varsity game will be played immediately afterwards.

The kindergarten kids were hard at work on Fun Friday
The 5th & 6th grade classes received a wonderful gift this week, funded fully by a retired teacher in Dripping Springs, TX . She funded the grant that was submitted through donorschoose.org, and we received 15 copies of the book "The Wild Robot." We are excited to read the story that inspired the movie coming out in theaters at the end of September!
4th Grade started their unit on ENERGY in science today. Our investigation involved figuring out what is needed to light a bulb!
Exploring the wonders of science with curious minds, our 3rd grade scientists are on a mission to make learning fun with this gallery walk around the classroom! They brainstormed what a scientist was and also discovered some new types of scientists along the way!
5th grade brainstormed and redesigned their egg protection systems. They were allowed one additional item. Some met the success parameters, some continue thru the design process

GFCC Volleyball Tournament Information
The Lady Refiner Volleyball team will be attending a tournament at Great Falls Central Catholic on Friday and Saturday, September 6 & 7.. The tournament schedule is below.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Teams will play 2 sets to 25 on day one. Day two will be bracketed.
ADMISSION PRICES
Adults - $8.00; Students - $6.00; Senior Citizens - $3.00.
CONCESSIONS
Concessions will be available Friday from 8am-3pm & Saturday from 9am-12pm. NO COOLERS PLEASE!

Games will be streamed through the GFCCHS NFHS network.
