Toole County Cross Country Challenge
The Refiner and Wildcat Cross Country runners will be running around Sunburst on Saturday, October 12, 2024. They will compete against Shelby to determine which team brings home the Toole County Trophy. The JH race begins at 9:30am followed by the HS race at 10am.
The start and finish areas are at the NTC Track/Football Field. They begin by running down the paved street by the grade school and then turn east to go down the alley by the Early Bird and run until they get to the fire hall. They then turn south and run until the last street where they will turn east. They will then turn north and run all the way down and around the baseball field area. They will exit the baseball field and head west until the natural turn that heads south. They will return up the street that heads to the water tower until they run through the upper football field parking lot area and wrap around the track to finish.

Volleyball Pink Night will be on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 6pm vs. Augusta. Please come support the Lady Refiners at their last home game and wear your pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

If you were left off our list last fall, I apologize! Please contact Mrs. Ehlers or an FCCLA member to be put on the list this year and we will make sure we send an FCCLA wreath seller to you! One of my favorite Montana Historical Society's lessons is this one called "Step into the Picture." Fourth grade students analyzed photographs, most of which were done by Montana's own Charlie Russell, to dive deeper into the history of Montana in the early 1800s. Tomorrow, we will be writing poetry based on our journey into the picture.
