Fish ID Today our 3rd-6th grade students, as part of the Hooked on Fishing Program sponsored by the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, learned about identifying a wide variety of fish in Montana. Mr. Nate shared many interesting and enlightening facts about a vast array of fish.

Fourth grade kids played a game in science called "Eat or Be Eaten"! They created food chains with predators and prey, and producers and consumers. The students who made the longest food chain won the game!

Third grade students learned that area can be measured by counting the number of unit squares in a figure. In today's lesson they explored the meaning of unit squares used to measure area. They concentrated on finding area using differently sized unit squares.
