Lunch Lady Appreciation Week If you see one of these lovely lunch ladies, please wish them a happy lunch ladies week! We are so fortunate to have Miss Lorrie, Miss Brandi, and Miss Leisha making our breakfasts and lunches daily. We thank them bunches for our lunches!

4th-6th Basketball Families with 4th, 5th and 6th graders - Please remember to call or email Mrs. Ehlers (shehlers@sunburst.k12.mt.us) or 406-937-2811) to sign up your athletes for this new basketball program. We are aware that there is a church conflict during this time period on Thursday nights. If your student has a church conflict on Thursday we still encourage them to join the basketball program. Last - please note this schedule change from the original information sent home: Thursday, March 9th practice and game will be rescheduled to Friday, March 10th.

1st Graders had a Blast celebrating 100 days of discovery by writing down 100 things we had learned so far in 1st grade and some out-of-this-world art!

It has been a fun two days in the elementary and high school gymnasiums. Humanities Montana speaker, Mark Matthews, has been at the school teaching the K-12 students dances and the stories behind them.

Bree and Mrs. Richmond want to say, "Happy 100 Days!" We are "moooovin" through the school year!

This is a friendly reminder 🎉 that on Saturday, Feb 11th from 6-8pm there will be a youth dance at the Sunburst Community Center for youth in 5th-8th grade. It will be the place to be for kids on 5th to 8th grade . It’ll have fun games, yummy snacks, and a live DJ (it’s Mark Daniels).

Senior Night 2023

Senior Night 2023 Seniors Connor Sullivan, Conlan Kerfoot, Tara Robins. and John Buckley celebrated senior night. They expressed their appreciation to their teammates, coaches, parents, and community members. Go Refiners!

County Spelling Bee The top 17 spellers from Sunburst from our local spelling bee will be receiving a note today (pictured below) containing information about participation in the Toole County Spelling Bee on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 6pm in the Shelby High School Auditorium.

We’re getting excited. 🎉 On Monday and Tuesday, February 6th and 7th, Mark Matthews of Humanities Montana will be at Sunburst Schools teaching all of the students community dances and the history behind the routines. It will be a fun and energetic couple of days.

Youth Basketball! Please see the information below for youth basketball on Friday, February 3, 2023 and Saturday, February 4, 2023. Paper copies of this information will be going home with students today.

Preschool! Sunburst Elementary was excited to have 3 preschool students join the kindergarten class today! These 3 students will be joining the kindergarten class on Wednesdays from 9-11am for the remainder of the school year.

4th-6th Spring Basketball Girls and boys in 4th-6th grade have the opportunity to participate in a spring basketball season beginning February 13, 2023.
