6th Grade Candy Cane Sale Results!
Thank you to everyone that purchased candy canes during the 6th grade candy cane sale. They made an amazing $231.50 with all proceeds going to the Children's Receiving Home.


Candy Cane Sale
The 6th grade class still has a variety of candy canes for sale for $.50 each tomorrow, Friday, December 9th during lunch. All proceeds will be going to the Children's Receiving Home.


Igloos!
Our 1st and 2nd grade classes are looking for 250 gallon milk jugs by January to make a large igloo. Please drop off washed out gallon jugs to Miss Tomsheck or Mrs. Pace at Sunburst Elementary School. Thank you!


6th Grade Candy Cane Sale
The 6th grade class will be having their annual candy cane sale tomorrow and Friday, December 8 and 9, during lunch (from 11:50-12:30). All candy canes are $.50. All proceeds will be going to the Children's Receiving Home.


During this performance task to wrap up our unit on the Web of Life, 4th grade students imagined they were a team of NASA engineers who were tasked a challenge of creating a healthy ecosystem on Mars. Students used arrows to show how nutrients and energy would move through their ecosystem!




For those interested in sending their child to the east coast through Explore America in 2024, but weren't able to attend the parent meeting last Thursday, please reach out to Hali Richmond. The deadline to enroll before prices increase is December 16th.

Preschool 2023
Sunburst Schools is pleased to offer a preschool program for any folks in the community that have students that will be able to enroll in kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. The flyer below has all the details!

On Tuesday, Dec. 6th, we will be having French toast sticks for breakfast.

5th and 6th grade students were hard at work today composing seasonal trees for art. They concentrated on warm and cool colors, line, and color mixing.

5th and 6th grade girls did a fantastic job bringing some Christmas Spirit to the Sunburst Community Talent Show last night!

4th graders just wrapped up a Unit in Social Studies celebrating many of Montana's most famous people. To display what they learned, students held a Montana wax museum. Watching the kids light up when they learned of the incredible things our own people have done was incredible to see and made my educator heart oh so happy!
