Attention Refiner Basketball Fans!
There will be no gate fee for the basketball games vs. Cascade on Saturday, December 18. Instead, spectators attending can leave a free will donation. All donations will go to help the community of Denton to rebuild after their devastating fire a few weeks ago. Please come and support our Refiner athletes and contribute to a great cause! The Refiner JV game will begin at 1pm. The Varsity girls will tip at 2:30pm and the Varsity boys game begins at 4:00pm at the NTCHS Gymnasium.

The JH/HS Christmas Program, led by Mrs. Hauschulz, was a phenomenal success. Thank you to everyone for attending this great event. The auditorium was decorated and festive. The JH/HS students performed a variety of international choral and band songs from around the globe as they celebrated Christmas Around the World. Fun facts, games, and treats from various regions were shared to enhance the festivities. More photos will be added to the Sunburst Schools Facebook Page!

The 2nd graders, led by Mrs. Pace, have started go learn their phone numbers and addresses. Having a floor phone to practice dialing and a scavenger hunt to find their own addresses is helping them to master this important information.

The junior class applied their understanding of the judicial system by participating in mock trials.

Congratulations to Virgil Manthey for people ‘s choice and judge’s choice and Kendra Schondaller and Katie Hout for first place in the Maria’s River Museum’s gingerbread contest.
