The 5th grade completed the Amazing Race: Irish History and Culture Edition today, and 6th grade had success at the Escape Challenge: Trap the Leprechaun. Both classes celebrated at the end with some shamrock punch! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I Love to Read Week Finale
Today we concluded I Love to Read Week with some fun activities involving all students in Kindergarten-12th grade. During the afternoon, students participated in jungle games, created a bookmark and went on a safari, did some buddy reading, and listened to the final story from the Montana Treasure State Reading book series. Last, all students went out and enjoyed some recess time together!
Special thanks to the staff for their efforts to make this fun opportunity possible for our students. Secondly, kudos to our older students as they all were exceptional big buddies and great examples for our younger students (and they had fun, too!)!
More photos will be on our Facebook page!

No School
Please remember we have no school on Monday, March 20! Enjoy the 3 day weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Sunburst Elementary!
Those pesky leprechauns avoided all of our students' traps and made a mess of many classrooms! On a positive note, they did leave some fun notes and treats!

4th-6th Basketball
The 4th-6th grade basketball game scheduled for Saturday, March 18, at 11am has been cancelled. Coach Willow and Coach Ulan want to thank the players and their parents for their participation!
