Breakfast change for Nov. 1
Breakfast on Monday, November 1st, will be breakfast bars instead of bagels.
Elementary Halloween Costume Parade
Sunburst Elementary School will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 29th. Students should not come to school dressed in a costume. Please send their costume with them in a bag as they will be given time to change.
Parents are welcome to come watch the Halloween parade and take pictures. We will begin in the Kindergarten room at approximately 1:20pm. As we wrap through the classrooms to pick up additional students, we will eventually get to the elementary cafeteria where we will take class pictures. This would be a great location for parents/residents to come and see all of the costumes. We will go out the cafeteria doors and ride a bus to the junior high/high school (due to the projected rainy, cool weather).
At approximately 1:40, we will walk through the high school starting from the gym entrance and walk up the hallway and out the east door (by Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Aschim’s classrooms).
Parents and community members are welcome to come watch the parade and take pictures. Again, the elementary cafeteria will be the best place to take pictures and see all of the kids in their costumes.
We will primarily only have our Kindergarten through 4th grade as the majority of our 5th/6th graders are leaving early for their basketball game in Cascade.

The 2nd graders, led by Mrs. Pace, are doing a variety of activities involving their group pumpkin. They have weighed their pumpkins, found the circumference, measured how tall it is, and cut it open to see how many seeds are inside. Check out more pictures on our school Facebook page!

Today was "Crazy Day" as part of Red Ribbon Week at Sunburst Elementary.
