Lori Christian (Miss Lori) has worked at Sunburst Schools since August of 2015.
1. What is your current role(s) at Sunburst Schools?
I am currently in my second year as the Elementary School Secretary.
2. What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have?
I have been with Sunburst Schools for 8 years. I was the Assistant Cook for my first 6 years.
3. Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and where graduated from college?
I was born in Chicago and moved to Wisconsin when I was 12 (6th grade). I graduated from Tomah Senior High School in Tomah, WI in 1987. I have also lived in Minnesota, North Dakota and now Montana.
4. Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other.
I have been married to my husband Jason for 27 years.
5. Do you have any pets?
We have 3 cats: Nyx "So Big", Hades "Baby Cat" and Midas "Tiny Cat" or "the Golden Bullet", but I don't think they know they are cats.
6. What are some of your hobbies and interests?
We love to go on rides and enjoy all the beauty Montana (and surrounding areas) have to offer. Spending any time I get to with my family is a bonus.
7. Are there any other interesting tidbits you want to share about yourself?
I love what I do. The relationships that have come with this job are like no other, it is definitely a family.
