Sunburst Schools is excited as we are off to a great start to the 2023-2024 school year.
Currently, we have a total enrollment of 135 students in Kindergarten-12th grade. We currently have 63 students in Kindergarten-6th grade, 23 students in 7th-8th grade, and 49 students in 9th-12th grade.
We are very excited to welcome 18 new students to our school district with 5 new at the elementary, 1 new at the junior high, and 12 new at the high school. We are excited to welcome these new students and their families to be part of the Sunburst Schools family. We are also excited to welcome our 6 new kindergarteners and their families.
We have a few staffing changes this year. Mr. Bucklin has taken over as K-12 Principal/Superintendent. Mr. Dunk still teaches history at the high school, but he has also taken on the lead teacher role at the elementary school. Mrs. Ehlers will add FCS classes to her current K-12 PE classes. Miss Cierrah Farbo was hired as an instructional aide and will be utilized at both buildings.
