Miss Lorrie has worked at Sunburst Schools since January of 2000.
1. What is your current role(s) at Sunburst Schools?
I am the head cook and part-time/fill-in janitor.
2. What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have?
This is my first experience at Sunburst Schools. I started as the assistant cook and took over as head cook nearly 10 years ago.
3. Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and where graduated from college?
I was born in Shelby, Montana. I spent all of my educational years in Sunburst and am a proud graduate of NTCHS. I previously worked at a brokerage in Sweetgrass.
4. Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other.
I have been married to my husband, Herb, for 36 years. We have two children, my daughter Darcy and my son OJay.
5. Do you have any pets?
I do not have any pets.
6. What are some of your hobbies and interests?
I love going over to our family trailer in the mountains whenever I get a chance. I also enjoy playing darts and have played in the dart league for many years.
