May 24, 2020 Graduation at 1pm!
The 2020 Commencement Ceremony will be taking place on the NTC football field starting at 1pm on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Guests coming to watch the ceremony must stay within their vehicle or in their designated area in lawn chairs or in the back of their pickup trucks to follow the Covid-19 social distancing guidelines. Speakers will be set up as to listen to the commencement, but the ceremony will also be broadcast over FM 99.9, our new school radio broadcasting frequency. Please plan to enter with your vehicle through the west gate of the football parking area. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a parade led by the seniors will take place downtown. There will be no school access or access to restroom facilities.
May 26 -- Final Pickup and Return of School Belongings!
The final packet pickup and delivery will be taking place on Tuesday, May 26th for all Sunburst K-12 students. Morning bus routes will follow the normal route schedule and pickup times. Town students should plan to return packets/materials between 8-10am at the school they attend (north door of elementary or main office door at the JH/HS building).
All K-12 students need to bring back the following items: weekly packets, class textbooks, library books, and computers/computer power cords. Please bag up/box student items or bundle the items together with some kind of label with the student’s name and grade level. Computers should be shut down, with the power cord neatly wrapped around it, and labeled with the name of the student that utilized the computer. Keep an eye out for emails or notifications from teachers or the librarian that contain specific books or materials that need to be returned. Please contact your teachers if you have any questions.
