** NO SCHOOL – MONDAY, JANUARY 18TH  for Martin Luther King Jr. Day! **

In the case of emergencies and school closures the school district will do its best to notify you. The school district uses KSEN radio, our school website, our school's Facebook page,  and our automated phone system. Please note that when the automated phone system calls, the caller ID will show Sunburst Schools at 937-2811. After you say hello, there will be a brief pause and then the message will recite. Please be patient and wait for the message to play. Our automated phone system can also contact you via text and email, so it is imperative that we have your current home, cell & email information.  Thank you!

ABSENCES/TARDIES. Remember to please call Miss Hauschulz in the office (937-2816) or email (hhauschulz@sunburst.k12.mt.us) when you child/children will be absent from or tardy to school. It is very important that the office is notified by a parent so that we can account for all students. When the office is not contacted, the absence will be marked as unexcused. Parents of bus students - If your child is NOT RIDING the bus in the morning call Chris at the bus garage at 937-2321. You can call anytime and leave a message.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL DAILY WITH A CLEAN FACE COVERING!!!

Also, please remember that if your child is sick, please keep them home!

QUICK REMINDER! BE SURE THAT YOUR CHILD COMES WITH A COAT, HAT, AND GLOVES EVERY DAY! Snow pants and boots are also recommended! All K-6 students do have outside recesses throughout the day and there is always the chance of cooler temperatures and possible inclement weather!

Spelling Bee! The Sunburst Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, January 28th @ 9 a.m. in the Sunburst Elementary Gym. All 5th-8th grade students have the opportunity to participate. All 4th grade students will be attending to watch. Social distancing will be practiced and face coverings will be required for all in attendance.

Join Booster Club and support our Wildcat and Refiner athletes & students! The $25.00 membership fee goes a long way to helping our athletes and students.
